What’s it all about: Kicked off a year ago at OWS17, The Women Empowerment Chapter is chartered with promoting discussion among IAOP members on how outsourcing can be used as a powerful tool for women empowerment on a global basis. The Chapter examines policies and practices for outsourcing that support women empowerment and creates opportunities for members to work together in addition to showcasing best practice examples for our members to adopt within their companies. The Women Empowerment Chapter includes members from the buyer, provider, advisor and academic communities.
Recent Events: The inaugural webinar was held in January on the topic of “Diversity and Respect Equals Better Outcomes and Better Business Results.” The chapter has expanded its focus to include diversity in the workforce, regardless of gender or ethnicity. Chapter members believe diversity creates strength, creates power and creates value – not just internally but for your clients. The event featured IAOP CEO Debi Hamill joined by special guest panelists, Eileen Scully, Founder, The Rising Tides, and Amrita Tahiliani Joshi, CMO, Xoriant. Watch a playback of the event!
