IAOP Honors Winners of the 2020 Red Ladder Women in Outsourcing Awards

Winners include Chitra Rajeshwari, Kate North, Dynah Kent and Lisa Taubler

The HCL Red Ladder Women in Outsourcing Awards are uniquely positioned to identify, recognize & award high performing and high potential women leaders, and leverage them as role models for other aspiring women. Through a range of initiatives and awards, this gender inclusion program identifies high performing women and supports them in taking next steps towards effective leadership roles.

Launched in 2016 by HCL, the initiative has been well received across various fraternity and created a niche for itself at several industry platforms to honor women for their contribution to business.

Since 2020, HCL’s Red Ladder Women in Outsourcing Awards is in partnership with IAOP’s Women Empowerment, Leadership and Diversity Chapter.

The 2020 winners were chosen in three categories and are as follows:

  • Women Empower Women: Chitra Rajeshwari, Executive Director, Avasant Foundation
  • Leadership in Transformational Sourcing: Kate North, Vice President, Workplace Advisory, Colliers
  • Excellence in Innovation – Emerging Technologies: Lisa Taubler, Consumer Affairs, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company
  • Rising Star: Dynah Kent, Head of Buy-side Engagement and Offshore Outsourcing Operations, Institutional Investor Research

Empowering Women Comes Naturally for Chitra Rajeshwari

For those who know Chitra Rajeshwari through her work as Executive Director of Avasant Foundation or active involvement with IAOP’s Women Empowerment, Leadership and Diversity Chapter, it’s easy to see she’s a natural champion for other women.

As such, Rajeshwari was the judging panel’s clear choice as the recipient of the Red Ladder award in the category of Women Empower Women.

Seeing Poverty First-Hand Motivates Rising Star Dynah Kent

The poverty Dynah Kent has seen in her native land of the Philippines motivates her to make a difference in both her work in offshore outsourcing and through her volunteerism.

For her outstanding efforts, Kent was awarded the Red Ladder Women in Outsourcing Award as a Rising Star by HCL and IAOP.

Kent was unable to accept the Red Ladder award at OWS2.0 in Florida because she was on a relief mission to the Philippines this February. PULSE caught up with her when she returned to learn about what motivates this up and comer. Read her story.

Kate North is Passionate in Advancing Workplaces and Women

Throughout her 25-year career, Kate North has been an advocate for both workplaces and women, and she is equally passionate about both.

Being honored by IAOP and HCL with the Red Ladder Women in Outsourcing Award for Leadership in Transformational Sourcing recognizes her outstanding achievements in workplace advisory and her inspirational example to women.
